I am not sure if every human or say musician feels this way.. Oh BTW i am SS for blog, who is a musician, a veena artiste to be precise.. This post is to justify the title of this blog. So, coming to the topic, Raaga means a tune. I have always felt that there are happy raagas which paint orange/yellow and sober raagas which paint maroon or a dark shade.. For example, Reeti Gowla I think paints a mild yellowish orange.. especially the phrase with which I would usually start GA MA NI DA MA NI NI SA.. but its not necessary that all raagas would make one think of a color.. If you take Aahiri, I would mostly crumble down to tears with the bhakthi bhava of that Raagam. Maayamma is an awesome composition, needless to say..
